For absent friends: Pearl Jam, Light Years (2011)

I've used hammers made out of wood
I have played games with pieces and rules
I've deciphered tricks at the bar
But now you're gone
I haven't figured out why
I've come up with riddles
And jokes about war
I've figured out numbers and what they're for
I've understood feelings
And I've understood words
But how could you be taken away

And wherever you've gone
And wherever we might go
It don't seem fair
Today you just disappeared
Your light's reflected now
Reflected from afar
We were but stones
Your light made us stars

With heavy breath,
Awakened regrets
Back pages and days alone that could've been spent, together...
But we were miles apart
Every inch between us becomes light years now
No time to be void
Or save up on life
God, uh you've got to spend it all

And wherever you've gone
And wherever we might go
It don't seem fair
Today you just disappeared
Your light's reflected now
Reflected from a far
We were but stones
Your light made us stars

And wherever you've gone
And wherever we might go
It don't seem fair
We still need you here
Your light's reflected now
Reflected from afar
We were but stones
Your light made us stars

Time Is On My Side, The Rolling Stones, no filme "Fallen"

Time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is

Now you always say
That you want to be free
But you'll come running back (said you would baby)
You'll come running back (I said so many times before)
You'll come running back to me

Oh, time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is

You're searching for good times
But just wait and see
You'll come running back (I wont have to worry no more)
You'll come running back (spend the rest of my life with you, baby)
You'll come running back to me

Go ahead, go ahead and light up the town
And baby, do everything your heart desires
Remember, I'll always be around
And I know, I know
Like I told you so many times before
You're gonna come back, baby
'Cause I know
You're gonna come back knocking
Yeah, knocking right on my door
Yes, yes!

Well, time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is

'Cause I got the real love
The kind that you need
You'll come running back (said you would, baby)
You'll come running back (I always said you would)
You'll come running back, to me
Yes time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Oh, time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
I said, time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Oh, time, time, time is on my side
Yeah, time, time, time is on my side

Pendragon, It's Just A matter Of Not Getting Caught

A drop of rain a sheet of ice,
You float through life, you've been here twice
No broken bones, you're on your own
You settle down and make a loving home
You run your hands through swaying corn,
You know you have to die to be reborn

Are you so beatiful tomorrow?

What goes around comes around,
All the clichés of the world and dumbing down
I know your mind, I know your tricks,
Your verbal sound bytes, you lying git
The puncture wound, the heroin,
Unsettled bills, the mortal sin

The trail of slime, where you have been,
Did I say the right thing?
You rule by fear, truth or dare,
The purest words, you've no idea

Will you be so beautiful tomorrow?

No substitute for honest toil,
No antidote for idle hands
In seconds life can turn around,
Depends which way the coin will land

Someone, somewhere, surely
Must know what's going on
The more I live the less I know,
Are you sure I said the right thing?

You run your hand through swaying corn,
You have to die to be reborn
You raise your eyes to heavens above,
You'll have to come back here
Cos you didn't give... love.

TOONed by McLaren

Pendragon, This Green and Pleasant Land (live)

Pendragon, Dance of the Seven Veils, Part 2: All Over Now

From the first drop of blood spit
To the last breath of man
Betrayal by the hand that leads the innocent hand
A friend the thought was a friend to fight
From William Wallace to Jesus Christ

It hurts when you say
You never knew me anyway
But it's all over now
It's so hard when you say
You never knew me anyway
But it's all over now

You drank from the poison cup
Not knowing it was a trap
It's strange but so true
The ones who love you will run you through
With swords and knives then run for their lives

Like the rose as petals fall
As the dance of the veils calls
But it's all over now
But it's all over now

Like a gypsy it seeks
To serenade you while you sleep
But is cutting out your heart
Leaving scars that run so deep
Like a moth to the flame
That just keeps burning through your life
But the lure of those sweet
Words of love keep calling

It hurts when you say
I never knew you anyway
But it's all over now
And it hurts when you say
I never knew you anyway
But it's all over now
And it hurts when you say
I never loved you anyway
But it's all over now
And it hurts when you say
I never knew you anyway
But it's all over now

We set sail on waters new
Our eyes set on a new world
It's time to wave goodbye
To the lives I touched and left behind
But through this melody and rhyme
I'll find some comfort here

Steven Wilson 'Harmony Korine' Live in Mexico (HD)
